Glaister Welsh
CEO and PM
Glaister Welsh is the founder of Calabash Capital Partners LP, an alternate asset manager based in Maryland. As an advisor he grew AUMs in separately managed accounts to $3.8 million. His extensive leadership experience spans top-tier firms, including General Electric, Avery Dennison, Berkshire Hathaway (GEICO), and Kaiser Permanente. A certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Series 65 holder, Glaister has published works on investing strategy and biochemical hazard remediation.
He also led Nature Isle Tropical Gourmet LLC, expanding its reach to 250 specialty stores across North America. Glaister holds a magna cum laude Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Howard University.
Crystal Welsh
Investor Relations
Crystal serves as the Director of Investor Relations where she is tasked with cultivating institutional and existing investor relationships. Previous to her current role, she managed a health care DME business for several years, in addition to helming her own DME startup. She also held positions at Columbia Fertility as an RN, and at Grubbs Pharmacy NW, where she served as the compliance and accreditation leader. Crystal holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a BSN in Nursing from Howard University.
Vittorio Manente

Vittorio’s primary focus lies in conducting strategic studies aimed at uncovering market opportunities across diverse sectors and geographical regions. His expertise encompasses a wide range of competencies, including the creation of medium and long-term energy projections, conducting financial analyses, providing policy guidelines, and developing techno-economic models. Leveraging his strategic vision, technical prowess, and lean thinking approach, Vittorio consistently delivers precise analyses within tight deadlines. Having honed his skills in the automotive sector, Vittorio’s professional journey began in the light and heavy-duty automotive realms, assuming various roles including that of chief project manager. His work made its way to the Aramco board of directors, and his insights provided support for the company’s business and investment decisions.
Dr. Delroy Hunter
Fund Advisor
Dr. Hunter is the Serge Bonanni Professor of International Finance at the University of South Florida and a former Fulbright Research Scholar. He holds a BS in Management from the University of the West Indies and a PhD in Finance from the University of Warwick. His research, published in leading finance journals, has earned multiple awards, including the Goldman Sachs Quant Award. Dr. Hunter also serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Stability and the Quarterly Journal of Finance & Accounting, and brings experience in banking, hotel management, and consulting.
